On the occasion of the month dedicated to the prevention of breast, uterine and ovarian cancer, Magniflex works alongside Shopping4Good on QVC to support the Umberto Veronesi Foundation as part of this important project. A personal commitment to make a tangible contribution to scientific research.
All the money generated by the purchase of products of the brands that are taking part in the project, with Magniflex being one of them, will be donated to “Pink is good”, with the aim of supporting 3 researchers who are actively involved every day in the fight against women’s cancer.
It is estimated that every year, in Italy, about 55,000 women are diagnosed with some form of cancer. A plague that can only be overcome through the advancements made by science, which currently makes it possible to heal about 90% of women who are diagnosed with the disease in its embryonic stage. A result that is the fruit of research and prevention, which all the more needs to be promoted in 2021-2022, given that in 2020, the problems tied to the pandemic led to a sizeable drop in the number of screening visits. An ambitious goal, with many star athletes among the testimonials: tennis players Flavia Pennetta and Roberta Vinci and volleyball player Stefania Okaka at the top of the list, who put all their effort and resilience in support of the initiative. Three world star athletes, photographed by Stefano Guindani, will lend their image to the multimedia campaign to raise awareness called “Shopping4Good”, in the mission to raise funds in support of cancer prevention.
